På Les trois Fontaines bliver du budt velkommen af danske Karina. Her kan du holde ferie og / eller deltage i kreative retreats. Under dit ophold hos os vil du helt sikkert føle dig hjemme og få et godt indblik i hverdagslivet i en lille landsby i den smukke Dordogne region i sydvest Frankrig.
I landsbyen bor en blanding af unge og ældre og franskmænd , hollændere og englændere. Vi handler så vidt muligt lokalt og økologisk og vores lille kultur-café samler os omkring, musik, kreativitet og brætspil. Her er ingen fristende shoppingmuligheder men masser af natur og et rigt dyreliv.
På Les Trois Fontaines har vi to ferieboliger og et værelse.

How do you get here
You have several options to get to the village to get here:
1. Take the plane to Stansted UK and then on to Limoges Airport. Flight company Ryanair.
In Limoges airport you can rent a car. 50 minutes drive from our home Les Trois Fontaines.
2. Take the plane to Paris, Charles de Gaulle airport and from there take the TGV (fast train)
to Angoulême train station where you can rent a car. 1 hour and 30 minutes drive to Les Trois Fontaines
3. Fly directly to Bordeaux with Easyjet Paris or Amsterdam and fly on to Bordeaux. Rent a car in Bordeaux. 2 1/2 hours drive from
Les Trois Fontaines
4. Drive by car and enjoy the trip down here. You can pass by Normandie and then by La Loire Valley
5. Fly to Paris, Charles de Gaulle airport. Take the bus to Austerlich Train station.
Take the train towards Limoges. Get off at the station La Coquille.

Things to do in the area
The village of Brantôme
Also called the Venise of Perigord.
The abbey is partly integrated in the rocks as well as some houses. Really nice walks and restaurants.
Saint Jean de Côle
Classified among the most beatiful villages of France.
Super charming and well worth a visit and just 19 km away.
Market Tour
The market in Thiviers has been elected in 2022 one of the best markets in France. A very special atmosphere and lots of local producers. Distance 12 km
Château de Jumilhac le Grand
Beautiful castle to visit just 6 km away. From there you will also find many hiking paths. Especially walking by the river l'Isle is a must.
